We are not meant to be bottomless vessels. God blesses us in abundance so that we overflow.
There is no need to stock up the goodness of God. He has plenty to give, therefore we have plenty to share.

For me, every day is a battle against my fleshly nature, the sin nature; the ‘dark side’, as it were. I weary of the struggle and look forward to that great day when this war will be behind me. Don’t you? Even Paul wrestled with this. It gives me confidence and strength anew to know that Paul himself struggled with this and was able to overcome it. Did you ever notice how Paul ends this line in his letter to the Romans with an exclamation point?

So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members.
