Greetings! I hope everyone is well. I am back from Kabul, Afghanistan. Yes, you read correctly. We left the day after Christmas, spent New Year’s there, and returned last Wednesday. My folks have lived there for over a year and a half now. My stepdad works as head of security at a hospital and my mom as a second grade teacher. It is a rough place but they are very much enjoying their time among the Afghan people.
