scripture

Hebrews 12:2-3

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

En Espanol, Hebreos 12:2-3

thought

Consider Jesus who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Jesus was not always welcome where He went, He did not own a house, He relied on the hospitality of others, He was plotted against, betrayed, beaten, spit on, and crucified. We may not endure the opposition or suffering that He did but He can identify with us in our sufferings.

Do not lose heart. Expect suffering. Be faithful.
