scripture
John 6:44
Jesus said, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.”
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Matthew 7:13-14
Jesus explains, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
thought
All religions are not the same. If they were then why did Christ himself say the things above? This country speaks of religious freedom. The freedom to believe as you wish but when it comes to Christianity, and a Christian says the very things that Christ taught then we become extremists, or bigots. This country does not emphasize freedom, nor tolerance but full fledge acceptance. If we can look at someone and say that it does not matter who or what they worship or how they live then we do not follow Christ. We are just like Peter who denied he even knew Jesus. May God rise up bigots who do not fear man but fear God!

Why in God’s name do you expect to be accepted everywhere? If the world could not get along with the holiest man alive (Jesus Christ) then how does it get along with you and I? Are we compromised? Do we have no spiritual stature? -taken from the “Revival Hymn”

scripture
John 12:44-46
Then Jesus cried out, "When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me (God the Father). When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness"

scripture
Isaiah prophesied in the Old Testament, “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel [which means God with us]” Isaiah 7:14. This child not only came but became a man and sacrificed his life in payment for our sins. John the Baptist knew as he exclaimed, “Look! There is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world”. John 1:29

scripture
John 3:35-36
The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.

quote
The hand of God never tires, nor are its movements aimless. It makes all things subservient to its designs, and, at every turn, disappoints the calculations of man, causing the most insignificant events to expand to the mightiest consequences, while those that have the appearance of mountains vanish into nothing.

scripture
John 3:19-21
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

AW Tozer wrote, "But, oh, the grace of God! God through the plan of salvation in Jesus Christ will go beyond our merits, beyond that which we deserve. Even if our sins have been like a mountain, it is the grace of God that assures our forgiveness." Who Put Jesus on the Cross? - page 39.

scripture
John 15:5-8
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

A pharisee is hard on others and easy on himself, but a spiritual man is easy on others and hard on himself.

scripture

John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but to save the world through Him.

thought

For God so loved
LOVE

that He gave
GAVE

Love requires giving. I've heard it said that love is best spelled T-I-M-E.
