The aim of the Taliban attack is to set fear and hopelessness in the hearts of the Afghanis and those there working for the improvement of the country. Please pray for those caught in the aftermath of the attack. Many wounds both physically and psychologically have been made. There is progress being made. When I visited my folks in December 2009, we heard over and over again stories of how things are so much better. One man always, in every conversation with us, said “Things are better. At least now we have hope.”
