message

When this started, I was pulling verses from a desktop card holder that had topics with scripture on both sides of each card it held.  I went to the dailyWord archive this morning and saw that it goes back to February 1, 2007.  The first post notes that it all started back at the beginning of May in 2005.  Wow, it is hard to think that this has been going on this long.  The number of recipients has gone up and down over the years.  The distribution list currently has 93 recipients on it.  I have heard from some recipients that they have created their own distribution lists that they then forward to.  I get excited thinking about how many people this is reaching and the impact that is being made.  There is nothing necessarily special about me.  There is nothing necessarily special about this little email.  Most simply and honestly put, there is power in the Word of God.  (Isaiah 55:11/Isaías 55:11)

Shalom, Kyle

scripture

Hebrews 10:23-25

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

En Espanol, Hebreos 10:23-25

quote

Can I be a Christian without joining other Christians in the church?  Yes, it is something like: being a soldier without an army, a seaman without a ship, a business man without a business, a tuba player without an orchestra, a football player without a team or a bee without a hive.
